Value and Mission
thebulletinboard draws its inspiration from the concept of bulletin boards as communication hubs for opportunities. Like the church bulletins and their boards, this site is a virtual space connecting Black students, professionals, businesses, and communities to educational content and access to economic advancement opportunities. Our core mission is to act as a resource to increase awareness and advance opportunities for Black students, professionals, businesses, and communities in the energy, environmental, climate, water, and sustainability (EECWS), advancing economic opportunities for Black communities.
We define sustainability as advancing social improvement alongside ecological and climate improvement. Thus, we work to empower and advance Black students, professionals, and communities to seek meaningful work within public service and social impact to ensure a socially and environmentally sustainable future.
